Biodynamic farming involves managing a farm within the context of the principles of a living organism. The Biodynamic method, developed in 1924 by Rudolf Steiner, requires a farming system that is minimally dependant on imported inputs for its survival. It requires holistic farm management where inputs that otherwise would need to be imported from outside arise from within the living dynamics of the farm itself.
